I headed out in the high sun and big heat to do my route to/from Fairforest Way. I went to the intersection of Parkins Mill and East Parkins Mill instead taking Cleveland Street across. once on East Parkins Mill I made a wrong turn and took a scenic loop that added about a mile to the ride. Also the wind was really tough today, although there were stretches where it was at my back and that was sweet. When I was cutting across to Haywood Crossing I was rapidly catching a golf cart loaded with people. I lost all of my downhill momentum as I caught them at the bottom of the hill. The man and woman in the back of the cart chatted with my as we worked our way up the hill until I turned off onto Haywod Crossing. That was unique. The very dark plane that I have seen doing touch and go's was back at it today.
