It's been fairly mild the past couple days, a nice break from the colder temps we've had over the past week or so. I was fortunate enough to get off work a bit early today, so I spent some extra time and took a slight diversion from my regular route. I like going along the riverwalk sometimes, especially if its not busy with pedestrians. Today was perfect and I didn't run into a single soul the entire length of the walk.
The funny thing about this walk is that you often cannot use it during the spring or a big chunk of the summer due to flooding (poor design of the walk IMO since this has been occurring since they put it in). The small amount of snow we've had means it can be enjoyed now.. something I will have to try and do until it becomes filled in with snow later on. I do plan on riding on the river this winter if it's clear (they create a skating path on it) and the ice is safe.
