 No sign of rabies!
Good news, I just got an official letter from Maricopa County Animal Care & Control. Quote "We are pleased to inform you that your bite case has been closed and that the animal that bit you did not have any signs of rabies."

I will be getting the stitches removed this Monday afternoon. It was supposed to be done last Thursday, but due to some swelling in my leg, my doctor wanted to wait a few more days. He wrote me a note for work to allow me to sit as much as possible for one week. My job is standing and walking, no sitting is usually allowed. I am also elevating my leg while sleeping, which really knocks the swelling down.

I have arthritis in my left ankle, so I don't have much range of motion, but it is almost back to pre-bite status!
