Lou lent me a pair of clipless pedals and shoes for me to try and I have to say that they made more of a difference than I thought they would. The wind was fairly stout and I felt strong into the wind with them and I also felt strong uphill with them. I am still clumsy clipping out of them, but I will get used to that with practice. We met Dennis on the road and he rode with us for a couple of miles.
