| Comments: 9.0 AP. Sharp ride to the Whistle Stop in Lincoln. I was intending to ride to the closest point of approach to Auburn then break off and head up there to buy my monthly bus pass. Carol rode with us partway up 12 Bridges Road!! :-) At the summit of 12 Bridges Road just before Sierra College Blvd, I stopped with Rachel. She pointed out that I had a tear in my rear tire. Sure enough, there was a split down the middle of 2.5". So, I broke off and headed home. Safety prevailed. That tire retired a the end of the ride home. |
