| Comments: Katy RAAM ride instead of Besse's Creek. Rode with Keith, John, Tuan and Vic. Barely hung on the pacceline set by Tuan the first 10 miles, and slowly felt a little stranger as the ride went. Sprinted behind Keith and Tuan. Was much better than I was expecting, but felt REALLY sore after the ride. Warm, WINDY (20-25 mph). Last 30 dead into the headwind. |

| Comments: 12 miles out on the Western Reserve Bike Trail in Champion, OH.. felt great, beeautiful sunny 70 day, light wind. Was controlling my heart rate to 160-165, avg'd 19.8 easily... feeling REALLY good surprisingly...when... the back tire blew out. No prob, thought it was just a flat. Was thinking about riding 70-80 miles... BUT... an 1-2" tear on the sidewall of the tire (Gatorskin) was too large to boot. Walked all 12 miles back in cycling shoes. HUGE blisters on both feet... |
