| Comments: B and I met Clary at Papago park with the mtbs. Nice park, some nice trails. Had never been there before. Not as cool as Desert Classic in SoMo IMHO. |

| Comments: McDowell Mountain park. We started from the campground, rode Granite, Bluff, back to Granite, to Pemberton, then the road to the competitive track where we did part of the sport loop before breaking off and rejoining the road at the service road, then climbing the road and Granite trail back to camp. Had a rattlesnake delay on Bluff; I was almost on top of the snake before I realized it wasn't a stick and I rode past its head. B stopped and we had to wait a while until it decided to get off the trail. Nice day, very nice park up there. |

| Comments: Rode with B and Clary on Desert Classic. Clary didn't get enough sleep and got light headed again; and the ride was slow going with lots of stops. Our ride programs showed 2:21 time, but there's no way we spent that much time riding. |

| Comments: Been a while since we've been on the bikes, but a nice morning off, so we did Desert Classic. My first crash and rock rash. And darned if B didn't do an endo right before we left the park for his first rock rash too!! |

| Comments: Wow, when was the last time I was on the road bike?? Called in sick yesterday and my trip doesn't transit PHX, so I seem to have a four day vacation. Wow. 80 degrees at 530am, but got on the bike and rode. My bike muscles and butt didn't know how to react. Nice day out other than all the morons walking or running in the bike lane. |
