2001 LeMond Victoire
Road bike |
Description: "Tawny" - Here I Go Again
I bought this bike on February 11, 2009 with about 3,000 miles on it. Prior owner said that it was broken down by an LBS in 2002 and the frame hung on the store wall for years. In 2006, he bought it and rode it for a couple of years. This frame is similar to the one used by the Saturn Pro Cycling team in 2002. It was made by Gary Helfrich, titanium pioneer, at the Trek plant in WI using their best welders. Your can read more about this great frame at http://cyclingnews.com/sponsors/lemond02/
Rebuilt with Dura Ace and upgraded wheelset on June 1, 2009. Fantastic comments from my LBS on the frame and welds.

Description: "Rosa" - Rosa's Cantina
This bike did so much for me. It got me into cycling. I rode it like crazy during the summer of 2008 and lost 60 pounds. It is a hybrid that I bought from Costco. It is a decent bike for the money. It easily met my needs at the time. Now, I use it for family bike rides.
