Started riding more seriously a few months after moving to the Bay area from Chicoutimi, Québec, during summer 2002. I realized that the climate made possible to easily commute by bike and that the traffic situation made it more convenient. |

Description: This is my commuting bike which I purchased in Spring 2006 when the steel frame of my 1998 Bonnelli broke. I put 9 miles a day on it. I changed the wheels in February 2009 for two Mavic A719 36 spokes. With its two u-locks, the rack, and the pannier to add weight, it serves as a heavy training bike.

2005 Litespeed Solano

Description: STOLEN BY A MORON ON NOVEMBER 12, 2009
This is a 2005 Litespeed Solano which I bought used in January 2007. It had 400 miles or so. It now has a Shimano Ultegra triple crankset and a Sram 11X28 cassette to save my knees in the Bay area hills. I also changed the stem and the handlebar for something more comfortable.
