I enjoy weekly rides with our local club. We've been riding for quite a few years. We're on the Canadian prairie so the road riding challenge is mostly with headwinds and average speeds. Every once in a while I get away (mostly to nearby areas like Minnesota, Michigan, North/South Dakota) and manage to do some new rides. I dream of a European cycling trip...someday. |

Description: Purchased July 2009, scandium/carbon frame. SRAM Force components, Mavic Ksyrium SL wheelset, Selle Italia SLR saddle. Smooth as butter and really responsive when I stand on the pedals. I had no idea chip and seal highways didn't have to make my butt and hands numb until I rode this bike. For the km's I ride and the short Manitoba season, I really don't deserve such a thoroughbred but I plan to ride this bike for a long time.

Description: Purchased this Redline 925 in June, 2008. Single speed flip-flop hub (fixed or freewheel), 54CM frame, Alex Ace 19 wheelset, 700 x 28 tires. Upgrades (not pictured) include shimano spd pedals, brooks professional saddle, brooks leather bar tape. It's a hoot to bomb around town with and commute to work on (30 km's). "One" really is all you need!
