My first chance to meet Southern Yankee was at First Union - a class act! My next chance to ride with him was at Reunion pre-ride. I got hurt part-way through and so ended up pushing on through some rest stops fearing if I stopped I wouldn't get going again. Because of that I was not there when he had his big crash. He's a good rider, and one I welcome the thought of riding with again.

This is a bit overdue. I got to meet and ride with Paul at First Union and at the pre-ride to RU05. A good guy and pretty strong rider too. Looking forward to seeing him and TexasBikeLady at RU07.

Just read your bio on Bike Journal by chance because youi live in Texas. Get well soon and back on your bike. I to had to take 7 months off from riding after being hit by car when I was 51. Riding withdralls are terrible. Again, get well and get ridin'. From: AMBU-LANCE, AKA THE DANNY LLAMA.

Congratulations for being one of the few friends of Slantz that still uses Bike Journal! Even Slantz hasn't logged any miles in years. Many happy miles to you.
