 Johnson Hollow
Have a metric century in Goshen, NY tomorrow so that makes this a travel day. Wanted to get a short ride in but not stress the legs as tomorrow's course looks a bit more challenging than last week's metric. Rode easy into the wind up the valley to Millport much slower than yesterday's sweet ride. Headed up The hill through Johnson Hollow but really milked the climb. Rode easy until the thirteen mile mark where the ride peaks and the road starts heading downhill. Picked up a tailwind and made somewhat of an effort. Had a fast down hill into Watkins. Bike is much more stable with a tailwind than a headwind and had good top speed on descent. Was almost able to get the average up to fifteen but ran out of leg at the end.
