Haven't been riding or even feeling well since June and have been in a never-ending tug of war with the assorted microbes inhabiting my body. If I stress the body at all I end up sick. Had to take some time off the bike to try to recover as well as starting a series of antibiotics. They seem to be having an effect but don't seem to be able to purge my body of the little buggers. Time off the bike hasn't been helpful to my diet either and all the numbers are going the wrong way. Got back on the bike today and was planning on going back to fat burning as am getting to0 hefty for serious climbing. Toured out through Mecklenburg and legs were feeling good. Sun was nice and wind had little influence today. Had a few good steady climbs but mostly sit and spin and nothing out of the saddle. Did better than I thought I would after a rough week off the bike.
