Plan was to take a short ride then drive to PA for a metric century in Hershey tomorrow. Took my default short ride to Millport. Started out fairly cool near sixty and maybe that was an issue as couldn't develop neither power nor spin on the way up the valley. There was a mild headwind but it was hardly noticeable. Got a little worried on the ascent that having heavy legs wasn't a good sign for the event in the morning. Had fair turnaround climb then headed back downstream. Legs worked really well after the turnaround and had really good speed on some sections. Ended up with a fairly good average for a junk ride and actually was encouraged by the result considering the trouble I had on the first half.
