I went and did it big time, this time.
Attempting to get a ranking under 1,000 for the year, and riding continuous days in December, and just being 66 years old, I went and did it.
I now have a rip roaring case of tendinitis in my left achilles tendon. Can hardly walk, even with a cane and mucho pain killers and IBU's. It's now been four days, and will probably be another two, at least. Even then, I doubt that there will be much riding of the bike for all of January; these things apparently take time to heal.
Should have known better. Should have done my normal schedule of five on and two off for yest. But, no, I had to prove something. Now, I will loose most of a whole month; if I am lucky.
And, so it is.
