Got out early today on the bike as today is a drive day as tomorrow's metric century is deep in PA. Rode easily up SR 14 and touched up the milage markers on the ITT course and occasionally stopped to remove road debris. Kept it in the small chainring and spun up to Horseheads. Returned on Middle Road until dropping down the Smith Rd back to SR 14. Was treated to some light rain in Horseheads. Returned on the ITT course and touched up the markings and removed debris on the back side of the course. Intended to keep it in the small chainring and hopefully qualify for a recovery ride but with the downgrade and strong tailwind I was running out of gears. Computer Nanny gave me a TEMPO ride rather than the RECOVERY I was hoping for, so my system must be a bit stressed after too hard days of riding. Rapid heartrate with low wattage isn't a good sign..
