Already fighting off a cold from probably riding in the rain last week and got caught in another shower today. Fairly nice day despite the threat of rain with only a slight south wind blowing. Tried to get a short ride in up Johnson Hollow before it rained heavily. Legs felt pretty good and did a couple good pulls on the way to the hill and put in a strong effort on the short climb. Feel better on the bike than off it presently. Kept good speed up to SR 414 then backed off for the downhill section. Had a pleasant descent into Watkins before pushing the slight headwind back to Montour. Had a fairly good average overall despite not really doing much work. Having a strong climb makes a big difference. Pleasant ride but didn't get many miles in. Considered taking another short ride late in the day but felt lazy and bailed on the idea.
