Had the truck all packed with bicycle and supplies for my southern tour and had planned on driving through and riding in PA today. Weather looked iffy in PA and had to wait for a package delivery before heading out so decided to ride a short route before leaving. The Look bike was packed so decided to take out the Cippolini. On the way out of the driveway broke a rear derailleur cable. Since the cable is internally routed, I wasn't interested in repairing it so had to unpack the Look. Quite glad I had purchased the new bike for the southern tour as repairing the Cippolini would have set me back several hours. Didn't do much on the ride other than spin to get some miles in. It was a decent ride and might be the last warm ride I took in NY until spring although if we get an Indian Summer in late October I might see some riding in the seventies again.
