What was found is lost again, then found again.
Before leaving for work this morning I intended to take the arm warmer I found yesterday and put it with its mate where they belong in a dresser drawer until they are called onto duty again. I looked in the side pocket of the trunk bag, where I thought I put it, and it wasn't there. I looked in the pockets of the two jerseys I was wearing yesterday, it wasn't there. I looked in the bottom of the computer bag/pannier, and it wasn't there. Where did it go now? I looked again in those places, being sure to be as thorough as possible - leaving no stone unturned - there is only a limit number of possibilities it could be! I must have dropped in my cube when I was gather things to go change for the ride home, and/or dropped it in the bathroom and just didn’t realize it.

Upon arriving at work and going into the bathroom to change, there was no sign of it, so I was hoping that I dropped it in my cube. Then as I was going through the process of changing clothes and getting ready for work, I reached into the computer bag for my hairbrush, which resides in a side pocket of the sleeve that houses the laptop inside the bag and voila (again). After discovering the arm warmer in my pants yesterday, I had rolled it up and put it in this pocket for safe keeping, and then forgot that’s where I put it and didn’t even think to check there when looking for it earlier this morning. I look in the bottom of the bag, even checking to see if it got pushed under the laptop sleeve, but I didn’t think to check this side pocket on the front of the laptop sleeve.

I am happy to say that the two arm warmers are rolled up together and stored in their rightful place, just like they should be!
