Ken called for a group ride in today's cold weather. Seven of us showed up at zoo to ride - Ken, Steve, Mark, Don, Kato, Scott, and me. Kato lives in TR so only rides up the trail. We took off and the splitting up began. Steve wasn't ready so I waited on him then we gave chase to catch the group. Ken called for a group picture at a frozen fountain, but Steve had taken off and left us by then. Mark and I trailed the group while we were chatting along, then Ken came back to talk and I left them. The last that I saw of any riders was around Furman - Kato was ahead of me while Mark and Ken were behind me. Once I was at the north side of TR, Don, Scott, and Steve were waiting. I told them that I was going to the Forest for a warm drink and they all followed. Kato goes home, but Mark and Ken showed up and the whole group was there. We had our coffee and chatted for quite a while. After hearing some of the politics within the club I told them that I need to join a new club! We started off downthe trail and Steve and I took the point. We stayed together but eventually I was alone out there. About half way back I noticed that the nose dribble was getting heavy because it was sprinkling. That motivated me to hurry back down the trail. It was cold, but a fun ride.
