Ride Description: Woooo Hoooo! I'm on the "Board"!!! First miles of the year. Rode the new Dorr Rd. path to Rockton, Roscoe, Victoria Lake Loop... A bit muddy at the bridges.
After going to the Madison Swap this morning, (Bought a carbon fiber H2O cage $25, And a cool vintage neon Cannondale sign.) I got inspired to fire up the "singlespeed" Super V 1.000. I shortened the chain and put it over the 17 tooth in the rear, and used my 32 up front.
REVIEW: Chain roller on the YESS tensioner was a bit noisy. Squeeked too... Pedal bob gets bad at 15 mph, and chain jack can be felt more with 1 gear.
Still need to remove the granny gear and cassette. Might also need new cables for the rear brake.
