It has been a week since I rode last. I rode last Thursday, then on Friday I had my eye exam. Saturday morning it snowed and there has been snow and ice on the streets and trail since. Yesterday it warmed up and rained and that took care of the snow and ice that was left. So today I set off to ride. I could sure tell that I had been off the bike for a week and the wind was kicking me around coming and going. Riding in I had a driver pull into the crosswalk and block me from crossing Pleasantburg. But riding home I had several stupid drivers block me and the walkers were out and paying no attention to where they were walking. I had to call off several walkers to keep from hitting them. The trail and the streets are pretty scared up from bad drivers in the snow. It wouldn't have been safe to ride as the drivers were all over the place - on the streets, sidewalks, and trail.
