Body was pretty sore from yesterday's ride but couldn't pass up sixty degree weather in January. Forecast was showers in the morning and rain in the afternoon. Wind was also brutal and occasionally gusting into the twenties from the south.Plan was to head up SR 14 into the wind and go until it started to rain then head home. Got an early start since it had remained warm throughout the night. Kept the head down and spun up to Millport then headed up to the Middle Road via Birch Hill. Climbing was again fairly poor but mercifully short. Continued on the rollers to Millport and caught a big tailwind back to Montour. Kept it in the small ring to try to work on my spin which seems to have suffered from lone riding on the flats in Florida. Weather kept improving as I rode rather than detereorating as predicted so added some hills in around town at the end of the ride. Rain never did show up.
