Winds finally died down and headed out on a really nice day. I am working long hours again and have been opting for sleep rather than miles but today was too good to resist. Crossed the Taylor Creek bridge and picked up the southern section of the bike trail and pedaled easily along the top of the dike. There are quite a few more various waterfowl hanging about then there were over the last couple of months. Also felt the warmth of the sun on my skin today for the first time this year as the sun is slowly working its way back north. Rode down to the tower lock and headed out onto the highway. Felt fairly well for the first twenty but flagged a little over the last six.
