Today I rode to Overbrook Baptist on East North Street and met my friend Steve to ride. He was on the phone when I got there which should have been a precursor to the ride. Steve said that Ken would meet us in Cleveland Park. Once we got going the pace was very hit and miss with talking on the phone and stopping to chat. We rode to TR where Ken took a picture of us in front of the new ice cream shop.Then it was back down the trail. The phone calls stopped but it was still pretty hit and miss with slowing down to chat. We stopped at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and I had a glass of iced tea and an oatberry shortbread. While there Kimberly rolled in with Melanie that rode with us a few weeks ago and Latisha who was a first time rider. They both go to school with Kimberly. Then we rode back to the park and Ken gave me a pair of riding shorts that are too big for him. It was a fun ride.
