I drove to Cleveland Park to ride in the Spinners Swamp Rabbit Ride. Nine of left the park to ride - Ken, Mark, Cato, Kristy, Don, Steve S, Susan, Carlo, and me. As we were leaving we saw Bill D and he said that he would catch us. We rode through the park then through Falls Park, and stopped at Linky Stove Park where we thought Bill would catch us. We waited there a bit but didn't see him. We went ahead and met EClaire in the area of Crossfit. We stopped at the Cafe and picked up Mary. We rode along at a leisurely pace and once we were in TR we caught Bill. He had cut through town to meet us at Linky Stone, but he beat us there. He thought that we were ahead of him so he took off and rode like everything to run us down, but he only pulled farther ahead of us. We also went through campus at Furman. We gathered at the Forest and I had a straawberry muffin and a cup of coffee. I also bought a white chocolate and macademia cookie to take home for Cis. EClaire left early to meet somebody and Cato rode home in TR. Mary, Kristy, Don, and Bill took off down the trail. Finally Susan, Steve, Ken, Carlo, Mark, and I took off to head for home. It was getting a little late so we hustled back down the trail. It's been a while since I rode in a group that set a pace like that. Carlo left us at the Cafe and the rest of us made our way back to Cleveland Park. It was a chilly but good ride.
