This is the first time that I have been to the ICAR in nearly two months. I was surprised as to how much stronger that I was there. The ICAR hills have always taken the starch out of me, but I was able to ride harder and stay in higher gears throughout the ride. I also averaged just over 13 mph, which is a first for me at the ICAR. I have only been able to hold 13 mph at Furman.
I stayed away from Cleveland Park because it has been so crowded on the last two rides and made for some very slow riding. We hit the middle 60s today and school was still out for MLK Day.
