The weather oracles predicted sunny weather in the forties and a light south wind. Planned on taking a short ride on the road bike since I had little fear of ice. Turned out to be a bit cooler as I headed out with the temperature at thirty-seven. Didn't plan on anything special today and just did a flat out and back to the salt plant on Salt Point Road. Lost the sun for most of the ride as the road runs along the west side of the valley and the sun had already set behind the hill by two PM. Pretty noneventful ride with no other cyclists sighted and very little traffic. Thought about doing a hill climb but decided I would freeze up on the downhill back into the valley. Did register for a couple of rides in Virginia in May. A metric, Tour de Madison, and a full Century, The Wilderness Ride. Done both of them many times and look forward to doing them again this season.
