Sun was out as was the wind. Did an easy out and back on the state highway. Was tempted to do some hills but was concerned of icy patches on the down hills as there still was occasional snow patches on the shaded sections of the main road. It was warm enough for a pleasant winter ride, but a steady, mean crosswind took a bit of the enjoyment out of today's outing. Ended up just grinding out some miles. Hopefully I burned enough calories to start cutting into the Christmas cookie weight.
