Have been working on trueing up some wheels and decided today would be a good day to go out and do a few short climbs on the road bike and stress the wheels. Forecast called for forty degrees and thirty percent chance of rain. Reality was thirty-five and hundred percent rain. Convinced myself it wouldn't be too bad and on the positive side there was a seventy percent chance it would stop raining. Unfortunately the breaks didn't go my way and got soaked quickly despite the rain gear and thought my thighs were going to freeze solid. Second time up the climb I got a flat that my no-tubes sealed but not before the tire was nearly flat. Had to ride a couple of miles standing up and leaning forward to protect the rim. Got another wheel out once I got home and intended to go back out riding but abandoned when I went back out and started shivering. Probably would have warmed back up but decided to ride the trainer in front of the television instead.
