After starting the month with 3 commute days in the first week, then only able to do one day week two (due to extreme cold on Thurs & Fri), last week was a total lose due to having to go to KC (Overland Park, actually) for work. This week is not looking any better. We got a little more than an inch of snow last night and it's currently snowing again tonight - supposed to get 1-3 more inches; so, the last half of this week doesn't look very viable for a bike commute. Ugh.
Well, to provide some compensation, I got the Schwinn down off its hooks and spent some time on the rollers. It started out a little harder than I expected, but once the quads got going and warmed up things rolled pretty good.
So, at least I can get some miles/conditioning in while it snows, even though I will be falling behind on the CCC goal.
