After work drove back to the downtown post office and headed out Washington to the SRT to get in another quarter. I was in the middle 50s today but the wind was brutal. I really fought the wind riding north but I was holding a pretty good pace for me. The clipless shoes and pedals seem to make a big difference when I am climbing or fighting the wind. Erica called and I was about 3/4 mile south of campus. I picked her up and we rode her route of late. From Furman to the north end of the trail and back then down to Sulphur Springs and back. That gives her about 14 miles. I left her and headed north onto campus to use the restroom along the lake trail, then headed back to the post office. I felt strong into the wind and that was a good feeling. Erica is getting stronger but I am trying to push her to pick it up. It was a good ride tonight.
