I drove down to Linky Stone Park to take a ride up the SRT and get in a 4th quarter this week. The lot there normally has a half dozen to a dozen vehicles parked there but today there were about 60 or 70. That should have told me something. The SRT was packed with people, walking, jogging, riding, roller-blading, etc. It was wall-to-wall people with many very inexperienced people that don't know the MUP rules of etiquette. It made for a few exciting and humorous moments along this ride. I did get off the SRT and rode on the streets at every opportunity. But it hit 60 today and the natives were out in full force. I guess that they have been suffering cabin fever with the winter weather as of late. I can't begrudge them time on the trail but it would be nice if they'd pay attention to what they are doing and use a little common sense when sharing the trail. But everybody around me survived the day so it was all good.
