After work I decided to make a trek up and down the trail. It was a little chilly, but once I got out it was very windy. I rode from the house to Cleveland Park, through downtown, and onto the trail at Linky Stone Park. Once I headed north the wind just beat me to a pulp. I really slogged my way up and turned around across from the Tandem Creperie in Travelers Rest. I stopped to drink and realized that my drink was still on the counter at home. I rode back down the trail and pulled in at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I bought a glass of sweet tea, a sweet pecan croissant to eat, and one to take home for Cis. The croissant was delicious. After I left the Cafe I was pretty cold, but I was onoy 6 miles out. I turned across the wind and battled it the rest of the way home. By the time I wa shome I was starting to take a chill.
