Today I left the house and rode to Cleveland Park then across downtown and got on the Trail at Linky Stone Park. It was colder today than yesterday, but the wind was not as blustery. Once I was on the trail and started to open up on the bike I had a bad case of DLS - most likely from fighting the wind yesterday. Today I batled the wind but nothing like yesterday. I felt like I was battling myself more than the wind. I rode all the way to the north end of the trail then doubled back the last mile and a quarter to make sure that I would have a quarter by the time I was back to the Cafe. Cis met me at the Cafe to get a bite to eat and give me a ride home. Kelsey waited on us today. We split a grilled cheese sandwich with roasted sweet potatoes, Cis had an apple juice and an apple walnut scone, while I had iced tea and oatberry shortbread.
