Today I road from the house down to Cleveland Park and onto the trail. Once I was on the trail the trail was closed underneath Camperdown Way. So when I got on the streets I also saw that Camperdown Way was closed where it crosses over the trail. There must be an issue with the bridge, but I cut behind the Peace Center and headed back toward the trail. I stopped at Linky Stone Park to take some pictures then headed up the trail. I stopped at the Cafe on my way north and took a picture of the tortoise and the hare mural on the TTR building. Then it was on up the trail. I stopped just north of Furman for a drink of water. I also stopped behind the Chevron station north of TR and took another animal drawing picture. I made it to the north end of the trail then turned back south. I stopped at the Cafe again and bought a pair of coconut covered chocolate doughnuts - one for Cis and one for me. I also had a new girl Kelsey wait on me at the Cafe. I took my old route home on Park Avenue as it is finally opened again. But man did they tear it up. They put down a lot of bucket asphalt for several blocks. They said that they can't repave it until the spring. Overall it was a good ride.
