 Trail Ride
I rode the Surly from home to Cleveland Park then across downtown and out Washington Street to the Hampton Avenue Walk Bridge. Then I took Old Buncombe Road past Blue Ridge and into the Union Bleachery village. I caught the Lakeview spur back to the main trail. I rode to Furman and made a loop around Furman then rode up the trail to across from the Tandem Crepery. I rode on out to Leopard Forest where I had a café au lait. I rode back down the trail and found the building just north of Cedar Lane Road with several fire trucks and other firehouse vehicles. I could smell that something had burned and they had cut a hole through a metal overhead door. When I stopped at Chris G's driveway, Chris, Max, and a boy about Max's age where playing hockey in the parking.
