Took several days off that were ridable but had no desire to pedal in the rain and didn't make the effort to schedule any time for riding. Weather was a little better today though the sun wasn't out as much as I had hoped. Planned on getting back at it and riding a fifty mile loop with some decent climbing and with some decent fall scenery. Had a slow climb out of Watkins but picked it up on the flats toward Glenora. Was disappointed that I couldn't smell any grapes on the ride. Perhaps they have been harvested already. Got a little tired on the second climb to Rockstream and decided to cut the ride short. Thought having a shorter fun ride would be better than a long sufferfest in the long run. Traffic hasn't gotten any better in Watkins as it was still bumper to bumper most of the way through the village. Had expected the tourists traffic to have cut back.
