Coldest day so far. had a hard freeze last night that ended the growing season and knocked most of the leaves off my black walnut trees. Temparature only climbed into the forties but with the strong steady north wind, the chill was down in the thirties. Bundled up and got out the mountain bike again. Had a soft tire but still had a good amount of air, so pumped it up again and hoped for the best. Knew there was a slow leak but thought I might be able to pull off a short ride without incident. Weather didn't bother me much as had most of the body covered and was probably overdressed. Only made it a mile before noticing the tire going soft. Pushed on stubbornly and made it to Watkins before it was bouncing on the rim. Stood up and headed back via Rock Cabin Rd. Short ride but good workout.
