Warm sun was back having returned on the strong southern wind. Couldn't pass up a long ride so headed to Chemung via Wyncoop. Wasn't looking forward to the first climb but it went fairly well. Wind kept the speed down through the rollers to Van Etten. Saw a guy on a recumbent near Beechville. Had a great ride as usual down Wyncoop and kept a good pace through the early climby part and built up some speed on the flats. Stopped at the gas station and had my tradition meal of Zingers and Classic Coke. Bought a lottery and was pleasantly surprised to win fifty on the ticket. Returned via Southport and finally picked up the strong tailwind which pushed me for the last thirty miles of the ride. Did some high speed stuff with spirits boosted by the windfall and warm wind. Only saw one other rider on the road but saw near twenty people riding the trail where it parallels the road near Millport. Great fall ride.
