Today's Ice Cream Ride was a little different. Even though the forecast showed 0% chance of rain and the radar was clear, the streets outside the house were wet. But it wasn't raining so I went ahead and left. Once I hit Erskine it was dry and stayed dry until I got to Stone Avenue and it was raining. It lightly rained until I got to the zoo entrance. Mark was there as Ken had him lead the ride. Kimberly showed up next then Ken. The Kris showed up and this was her first ice cream ride. As we left Nick joined in as well. We worked our way through Falls Park as Fall For Greenville was going on and it was crowded. Ken, Mark, and Kimberly were all riding vintage bikes. We stopped at Alley Kat's and Kimberly had a cup of coffee. Officer Mike was there and telling tales as he is apt to do. We started to leave and Mark had a bad tire bulge, so we waited while he changed inner tubes. Before we got to Furman Ken's chain stuck between the big chain ring and the outer guard. So it was a slow ride up the trail. Once we arrived at the Creamery the Tiramisu/Chocolate was down and Jenn had gone to get something for it. Judy and the other girl were running things in her absence. The also had homemade doughnuts for sale so I bought a box of doughnuts to go with the ice cream. Cis and I sat inside but once we finished the ice cream we went outside with the group. While we were sitting around chatting Officer Mike came up. He had lots of tales to tell again. We took a slow ride back with several stops. We did a lot of chatting so it was truly a social ride.
