I rode the Surly this morning. I took Pinkney to the Hampton Avenue Bridge then to to Mt Calvary's parking lot. The bridge to the café was closed, so I had to take the Orange Line back to the trail. Jeff K was at Mt Calvary, so I went back around. There were 9 of us - Allen, Jeff K, Jeff H, Bruce, Dashawn, Kevin, Conner, Mike, and me. The group got separated early as Jeff was leading the ride to the Grand Bohemian. I knew that Jeff K wouldn't go in, so we took off north and told Jeff H that they'd catch us on the trail or we would meet them at UpCountry. By then Dashawn, Mike, and Conner had been left behind. We ran into Conner and Mike, then later ran into Dashawn. Jeff and I rode up the trail and ordered at UpCountry. I had a Blue and Gold salad. Jeff H arrived just after they brought our meals out. Then Kevin and Bruce came out. We sat and talked for a good long time, but Jeff K had to get home to do his homework. We sat and talked for a good bit longer. We rode back down the trail and I rode mostly with Jeff H. We stopped at the Café and Jeff and Bruce talked with an older couple that they knew. Then I rode from the café home.
