I had to work this Saturday but headed out East North after work. As I checked the mail in our box before I left the house, a car stopped to talk to me. His name is David and he has been riding for 20 years. He lives a few blocks over in the neighborhood and hadn't seen me before. I told him where I was headed and he said "Great minds think alike." He had taken his ride in the morning.
I took my normal weekday route as I figured the SRT wouldn't be so crowded this late and in the wind. When i got to town I realized that Fall for Greenville was going on and that I wouldn't be able to get across downtown. I had to double back on Falls Street over Church Street then cut down to Sirrine Stadium and crossed Church Street at County Square and crossed Augusta and Main Streets along the Fluor Field. Then it was boogity - boogity out the trail to the gazebo in TR and back home before dusk. It was really windy out and a struggle going north, but I haad to watch it coming back as the SRT has a 20 mph speed limit.
