Felt better today even without any sunshine. Rode up to Millport than headed up Millport Road hill which is much easier now with a thick coat of new pavement. Kind of missed navigating through the sand and broken pavement. Felt good standing up on the first section and spinning the top. Headed north on Middle Road and did the long climb to Seymourville. Had only planned on descending to Odessa and then coasting home but seeing as today was the best I've felt in a three weeks added another short climb up Lower Foots Hill. The approach is still loose stone but the majority of the Foots Hill Rd now has new pavement. Had a blast with the new topcoat with a tailwind and enjoyed the fifty mile an hour descent to Burdett followed by a forty-five mph descent to Watkins. Considered a climb up Old Corning for a trifecta but decided against it and headed home on the flats. Great day on the bike with fall scenery and weather.
