Another really nice day. The last ten days or so have been some of the best summer weather this year. Went out today to try out the recently rejuvenated legs on with an early climb and then twenty miles of down hill. Hit Jackson Hill hard on the bottom and had a little snap in the legs. I made it about half way up the steep section before I had to back off. Made good time on the gentler slopes and even did an out of the saddle interval on the last knoll before Catherine. Didn't have any kind of record but had a respectable time. The climbing section between Catherine and Seymourville was a little of a challenge with the headwind and lost a little time instead of upping the pace. Once over the top though it was hammer time and the legs performed well. Kept the speeds in the high twenties until Horseheads. Speed hovered near twenty until Pine Valley. Once over the ridge I was able to keep the speed near thirty with the tailwind and even had a decent run through the Curse. Another strong day and very satisfying ride.
