After work I drove to Furman and parked at the railroad car. I had to hustle up the trail to meet the group at Sunrift Outfitters by 6:00. I pulled in at 5:59. Again it was Adam and Becky, Erica, and me. We left after 6 and headed to the north end of the trail. From there we did a fair amount of wandering around up there. I took off my sunglasses about half way through and we finished after dark. I need to get a true vision headlight if I am going to ride many more night rides. I have my front blinky and an LED flashlight that is fine for riding the trail, but if I am going to ride the roads after dark I need a good headlight. Once we were back at Sunrift I still had about 3 1/2 miles to get back to Furman and the truck. Once it's dark the trail is pitch black. My flashlight headlight is fine for the trail. It was a fun ride.
