Another really nice day as the winds are taking a break and there was abundant sunshine today. Another ride to the northwest section with its rough roads and agressive dogs. Worst part of the ride today was the road construction. Another long section of pavement was removed for grading of the base surface which wasn't bad. The bad part was that the dirt surface had been watered down and while it didn't produce mud it did produce a dust slurry. By the end of the four or five mile section my bike and I were both covered with a thin hard crust. Tried rinsing it off after the ride but plain water isn't going do it. Will have to end up doing some scrubbing to get clean again. Rear tire is also taking a beating as it is has numerous gashes. The notubes sealant keeps them inflated but I also need to superglue the cuts before each ride to keep the holes small enough for the sealant to work.
