I finally got out and tried the Fairforest / ICAR route. It was a little windy so I had to work at it. The ride itself was fairly uneventful, but it was a good ride. I stopped at the airport just as one of the little BoJo trainers was taking off. I thought it was coming around for some touch 'n go's, but once it was going north it just kept going. Then a large single engine plane came in very hot, but it had some serious stopping power on the runway. It was a PC12 aircraft.
