Got back on the bike after another extended period of sloth due in part to less than ideal weather. Temperature got up near sixty today and the recently returned sunlight made for a pleasant day. I had a pretty good day on the computrainer yesterday, and so thought I would have a good day on the bike today but that wasn't the case. Legs felt flat as I headed south with a strong tailwind but really never developed any speed nor momentum. Thought the legs would be fresh and that I would have a good climb up Johnson Hollow but that didn't happen either as I slumped over the handlebars up most of the climb. Excepted my fate after the climb and just rode easy the remainder of the ride. Ended up finishing just a little over fifteen miles an hour so it looks like the two weeks off the bike have really hurt my fitness level.
