I really needed a quarter today to have any chance at the trick or treat challenge. The wind was blowing 25 mph while gusting up to 40 mph. The temps had also dropped from 70 yesterday to 50 when I was riding today. A tree fell across the trail about a mile south of Furman. It wasn't there when I went north but it was down on the southern return. I called 911 and let them know where it was. I also saw a groundhog on the way in just north of Cedar Lane Road.
